Authorities in Springfield are searching for a man wanted in connection to the January death of a teen-age girl.
The body of 14-year-old Jackie Strahle was discovered on January 28 hidden in some brush near a residence on the west side of Springfield. Now, police are looking for a young man named Evrinn Worlds – who also goes by the nickname Zo – for questioning in the case.
A probable cause affidavit states that Worlds was in a relationship with Strahle and that the two had been living in the house where the girl's body was found. A witness told investigators that he had witnessed Worlds carrying something out of the house in a black trash bag on the night of January 27th.
Worlds currently faces charges in Greene County for felony abandonment of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
Anyone with information on Worlds or the investigation is asked to contact the Greene County Sheriff's Office.
