A Police pursuit in Labette County ends in a fatal crash.

 

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, law enforcement officers were in pursuit of a suspect's vehicle just before 2pm yesterday afternoon. The suspect was fleeing northbound on Wallace Road just south of US-400 between Parsons and McCune. The suspect failed to negotiate a curve causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a tree. The suspect sustained fatal injuries in the crash.

 

K-H-P has not yet released the name of the suspect or the cause of the chase.
