The Kansas Water Office Verdigris Regional Advisory Committee will hold a meeting this month to discuss water issues in southeast Kansas.
On the agenda will be a presentation of the Water Innovation Systems and Education or WISE program. The WISE program is a partnership between public and private entities to create practices with the goal of water conservation, improved water quality, and soil and ecological health. The K-W-O's Strategic Implementation plan will also be discussed as will any current legislation on water in the Kansas Legislature.
The meeting will be held on Monday, February 24, at 1pm at the Eureka Public Library, located at 606 North Main Street.
