Montgomery County finds ways to use taxpayer money to bring in additional revenue for the county.

 

At this week's Montgomery County Commission meeting, County Treasurer Nancy Clubine reported to the commission about idle funds held by the county. Commissioner Mike Cordray says the county is in good financial shape.

 

Clubine says those funds are held by several different banks throughout the county.

 

Clubine says that interest earned on any idle funds is returned to the county general fund for use on various projects.
