USD 445- Coffeyville announces an upcoming meeting of committees for the district Indian Education Program.

 

The Johnson-O'Malley Parent Committee and the Title 6 Indian Education Parent Committee will meet on February 19 in the library at Field Kindley High School. In order to serve on either committee, a person must be the parent of guardian of a Title 6 or J-O-M verified child. School board members, school administrators and employees, and their spouses along with Cherokee Nation personnel with signature authority over contracts or their spouses are not eligible to serve.

 

The mission of Indian Education is to support local educational agencies, Indian tribes and organizations, and other entities in meeting the educational and academic needs of American Indians.
