The ongoing project on South Buckeye Street in Coffeyville is on pause until mid-February.
That was the word from County Director of Public Works Brandon Beurskins at this week's Montgomery County Commission meeting. Beurskins says the contractor responsible for the project asked the Kansas Department of Transportation for a winter shutdown.
Beurskins says the project has just a few more parts to complete before the work is done.
The project was originally planned for completion in December.
