The Generalissimo and theme for Neewollah are announced.

Mindy Blackard has been named the incoming Generalissimo for 2025, with Cody Dixon named Generalissimo Elect over the weekend at the annual Neewollah Thank-you party.

It's been 24 years since the musical “Annie” was performed on the Neewollah stage, and Blackard says she thinks it's time to bring it back. The theme for Neewollah 2025 will be The Fun Will Come Out at Neewollah, inspired by the famous song “Tomorrow” from Annie. The year’s Neewollah festivities will run from October 17th to October 25th in Independence.
