An event is coming up this weekend for any interested marksmen.
A.B.A.T.E. of Kansas District 3 is hosting a turkey shoot this weekend for youth and adults. Organizer Bill Caldwell says this event helps not only support their mission of advocating for motorcycle rights but also helps with community events throughout the year.
The turkey shoot will take place tomorrow at the Caney American Legion at 1607 Highway 75. The youth division starts at 10 for ages 8 – 14 and the competition for ages 15 and up will be at noon. Shotguns will be available for those who don't have one, with $10 for 3 shots. Winners in each division will either receive a .410 or 12 gauge shotgun.
