A 14-year-old girl is found shot to death near Springfield.

 

Deputies in Greene County, MO, are investigating the death of 14-year-old Jackie Strahle of Springfield. Strahle was discovered on Tuesday night, her body hidden in the brush behind a residence on the west side of the southwestern Missouri city.

 

Greene County Sheriff Jim Arnott stated that no arrests have been made but that there is no threat to the public.
