An Army Black Hawk helicopter and an American Airlines passenger jet from Wichita collide in mid-air over Washington D.C.'s Reagan National Airport.

KAKE TV in Wichita reports that the City of Wichita will hold a press conference about the accident at 10:45am this morning and the Kansas Aviation Museum in Wichita has announced a prayer vigil will be held at noon today in the Wichita City Council Chambers.
