Changes for Vets' Online Health Access to Take Effect Jan. 31

Changes to the Department of Veterans Affairs online sign in are set to take effect tomorrow (Friday).

In an attempt to shore up online security for the nation's military veterans, the VA is changing some things about online sin-in access for healthcare. Vets who use My Health E Vet or DS Log On to manage their VA benefits and healthcare online will need to create a new secure account with Login.gov or ID.me. These secure sign-in options will be in effect across all VA websites and apps including My Health E Vet, VA.gov and the VA:Health and Benefits mobile app.

In order to assist vets, VA Eastern Kansas is holding several workshops on the change. Veterans will still be able to coordinate their care in person or via the phone.

For assistance, call 913-946-1640 or visit one of the scheduled in-person account set-up workshops:
