The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has a new DNA tool for combating crime in the Sooner State.
O-S-B-I will begin using rapid DNA testing in their Forensic Science Center in Edmond this week. Criminologist Beth Deen says the new process can produce results very quickly.
However, Deen adds that the new testing will not replace the older form of DNA tests due to limitations in the results.
O-S-B-I offers training for Rapid DNA testing for any law enforcement agency in the state.
