Drivers on U.S. 169 near Liberty should keep an eye out for workers for the next several weeks.

According to the Kansas Department of Transportation, starting this week and continuing through mid- February, crews will clear brush on the right of way at the intersection of U.S. 169 and Montgomery County Road 3420 or Liberty Road. Flaggers and a pilot car will direct one-lane traffic through the work zone between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on weekdays. Drivers should expect delays of 15 minutes or less.
