The Dearing Fire Department provides aid on a controlled burn over the weekend.

 

On Saturday around 9:20 a.m., the Dearing Fire Department along with Coffeyville Regional Medical Center EMS and the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department were dispatched to the 2400 block of County Road 4525 in Indian Village.

 

A controlled burn was ongoing, and first responders were called when the burn started becoming uncontrollable. Firefighters were able to contain the fire and there was no loss of property or structures.
