A roadwork project near Sedan will start midweek.
According to the Kansas Department of Transportation, on Wednesday, workers expect to begin a drainage and erosion control project on U.S. 166B. The 3-mile project area is located between the west junction of U.S. 166/U.S. 166B and the west city limits of Sedan.
Flaggers will direct one-lane traffic through the work zone on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Drivers can expect brief delays. A driving lane width restriction of 12.5 feet will be in effect. Weather permitting, the work should be completed by Friday, Feb. 7th.
