Work continues on the new Neosho River Bridge on U.S. 59 south of Erie.
KDOT Southeast Kansas says the bridge deck is taking shape as work continues during the winter months.
KanDrive recommends using KS 47 and KS 39 as detours around the bridge, which is closed.
KDOT says the bridge will be closed through May 31st.
