City crews in Fredonia have been busy repairing leaks in the city water system.
Crews were out once again yesterday to repair a leak in a water main near 16th and Adams Streets. This was the latest leak after crews were called out on Sunday night to repair a leak near Madison Street and the railroad tracks. That leak took nearly twenty-four hours to repair due to the extreme cold.
The warmer weather allowed crews to work quickly yesterday and repairs were completed and service was restored by late afternoon.
