The Independence City Commission will meet tonight at City Hall.

 

On the agenda is a discussion of parking in the downtown area, a payment request from Labette Health, and the possible purchase of a new pumper truck for the Independence Fire Department. Commissioners will also hold a Public Hearing regarding condemnation proceedings on a house on Washington Street.

 

Tonight's meeting begins at 5:30 in the Commission Room at City Hall. The meeting will also be broadcast online via the city's website.
