On Monday afternoon, several area communities were affected by water leaks and crews were working to get them repaired as quickly as possible.

The City of Pawhuska had issues around Skyline Drive and Grandview Avenue, while Nowata was able to fix the leak before being forced to turn the water supply off. The City of Fredonia had a major water leak when a water main broke on Sunday. Crews in that city worked through the frigid temperatures into the evening on Sunday and through Monday afternoon before water service was fully restored.
