Work in Fredonia is expected to continue today as crews in that city repair a water main leak in the sub-zero temperatures.

Crews were busy into the evening hours last night working to repair the leak near the railroad tracks on West Madison Street. Last night's work allowed the water main to open enough to allow water through the line, though pressure in the city was reduced in the overnight hours. There may be street closures on Est Madison today in order to allow the work to be completed. Drivers are advised to avoid that area if at all possible.
