A Columbus man is appointed to the State Board of Agriculture.
Kansas Governor Laura Kelly announced the appointment of Chad Epler of Columbus to the State Board of Agriculture. Epler is a Native of Columbus and runs his family farm operations there. He has also served as the secretary of the Kansas Corn Growers Association and as a member of the National Corn Growers Association Action Team.
The Kansas State Board of Agriculture is composed of nine members appointed by the governor. Epler will serve a four-year term on the board.
He joins Thad Geiger of Troy and Michael Springer of Neodesha in representing District 2 on the State Board.
