A Friday evening accident on US-400 in Wilson County leaves two people injured.

The accident occurred around 5:30pm when a 2024 Mercedes Benz Sprinter driven by 53-year-old Jitler Edel Garcia-Castellon of Gibsonton, Florida, was traveling southbound and attempted to pass another vehicle. The Benz struck an oncoming Subaru Forester driven by 72-year-old Phyllis Ann Winzenried of Forsyth, MO. Both drivers received minor injuries. A passenger in the Subaru was uninjured.
