Police in Rose Hill, KS, provide an update to the public regarding the case of a child's remains found buried in the backyard of a Rose Hill home in September.
Authorities say the investigation is nearing its conclusion and Rose Hill Police Chief Taylor Parlier says he hopes to present his findings to the Butler County Attorney in the coming weeks.
The remains of 6-year-old Kennedy Jean Schroer were found buried in the backyard of her adoptive parents. Authorities believe the child died sometime in 2020.
