Dr. Null Unanimously Appointed as ICC Trustee

The Independence Community College Board of Trustees votes unanimously to fill the vacated seat on the board.

At a special board meeting last night, Dr. Logan Null was approved, on a 5-0 vote, to fill the seat vacated by Trustee Val DeFever, who resigned in December. He will officially assume his duties following his swearing-in at the January 21st Board of Trustees meeting. Dr. Null is a lifelong resident of Independence and his mother, Jeanelle, worked for ICC for 33 years as an educator.

Dr. Null says he is deeply honored to join the board of an institution that holds a special place in my family’s history and in the community. ICC says Dr. Null’s leadership and commitment to the Independence community make him a valuable addition to the ICC Board of Trustees. His focus on education, research, and community engagement aligns with ICC’s mission to empower students and foster growth within the broader community.
