One Person Killed, Another Seriously Injured in Northern Kansas Crash

 

A crash in north central Kansas leaves one man dead and another seriously injured.

 

The accident occurred just before 7am yesterday morning in Mitchell County. A 2010 Toyota Tundra driven by 39-year-old Christopher Herz of Burr Oak, KS, was traveling northbound on K-14 about five miles north of the City of Beloit. Herz' vehicle crossed the center line and struck a 2008 Ford Escape driven by 44-year-old Travis Cady of Jewell, KS. Cady sustained fatal injuries in the crash while Herz was taken to the Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit with serious injuries.
