South Coffeyville Public Schools' superintendent will be around for at least another year.

At their meeting last night, members of the South Coffeyville School Board decided, without the need of an executive session, to continue Superintendent Daryl Pruter's employment.

In other business, the board also gave annual approval to continue the use of state-approved vendors without the need to solicit bids on certain district supplies.
