Firefighters in Joplin brave frigid temperatures as they battled an early morning fire on Saturday.
The temperature was 18 degrees at 6am when fire crews were dispatched to extinguish a fire in a downtown Joplin residence on Saturday morning. The home was under going renovation and was unoccupied at the time of the fire. Joplin Fire put the fire out without any injuries to personnel. Joplin Police and METs ambulance assisted at the scene.
The Joplin Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the blaze.
