A weekend car accident in Crawford County leaves one woman with minor injuries.

The crash occurred just after 5pm on Saturday evening at the intersection of 520th Avenue and 200th Street southwest of Pittsburg. A 2014 Chevy Spark driven by 31-year-old Gennie Moeller of Pittsburg failed to yield to an oncoming westbound pickup truck on 520th Avenue. The pickup truck struck the Spark on the driver’s side causing it to spin. Moeller sustained minor injuries in the crash and was taken to Mercy Hospital for treatment.

The occupants of the pickup – 22-year-old Brandon Coltrane of Cherokee and his passenger 20-year-old Bailey Parsons of Scammon – were uninjured.
