Snow is expected to wrap up this morning for the area.

 

Southeast Kansas remains under a winter weather advisory through 9 a.m., which includes Greenwood, Woodson, Allen, Cowley, Elk, Wilson, Neosho and Chautauqua Counties.

 

Areas of light to moderate snow will continue exiting eastward early this morning. Additional accumulations up to around one inch are possible over southeast Kansas. In Oklahoma, Osage, Washington and Nowata Counties are also under a winter weather advisory though noon. The rest of northeast Oklahoma, Southern Missouri, and northwest Arkansas are all under a winter storm warning through noon with additional snow accumulation possible. So far, around four inches of snow has been measured in Coffeyville.

 

Drivers should watch for slick and snow-packed roads, and give yourself extra time to reach your destination this morning.
