Coffeyville will soon see a large influx in population.

 

While temporary, CVR Energy's turnaround has started, which is a periodic time when large maintenance and repair projects are completed at the refinery. Coffeyville Chamber of Commerce President Candi Westbrook says a few thousand people are expected to come into the area.

 

Westbrook says CVR expects the number of workers needed for the turnaround to peak by the end of February.
