The City of Sedan cuts ties with the Chautauqua County Animal Shelter.
The announcement came at this week's Sedan City Council meeting. At a recent meeting between city council members and the shelter, an impasse was reached between the two entities. Council member Adam Clark says a big part of the issue was finances.
City Clerk Lana Robinson says she has been working to find other area shelters that might be able to partner with the city.
The next Sedan City Council meeting will be on January 21.
