The safety concern stems from the fact that the product uses button cell batteries that are easily accessible and pose and ingestion hazard. The product also includes a button cell battery that is not in child-resistant packaging, which violates federal law. The ROMEO5 Sights were sold at Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s, Sportsman’s Warehouse, Academy Sports, Scheels as well as online retailers.
