Four people are injured in a car accident near Parsons.

 

The accident occurred just after 10pm last night. 25-year-old Rachel Haslett was driving a 2008 Ford F-150 when she attempted to make an unsafe u-turn on US-400 at the junction of US-59.

 

An oncoming vehicle in the westbound lane of 400 struck the pickup on the driver's side. Haslett, along with her passenger 25-year-old Destiny Miller of Pittsburg sustained minor injuries. An infant and a toddler in the truck also received minor injuries. The toddler was not in a booster seat at the time of the accident.

 

All four were taken to Labette Health in Parsons for treatment. The two occupants of the other vehicle were uninjured in the crash.
