An anonymous tips leads to the capture of a fugitive on Oklahoma's 10 Most Wanted list.
Last month, police in Detroit arrested 55-year-old Virginia Hubbard. Hubbard had been on the run since fleeing the state of Oklahoma where she allegedly neglected a Tulsa County woman she had been hired to care for. Hubbard is also accused of committing financial crimes against the victim.
Authorities had suspected Hubbard had left the state, but were uncertain of her location until an anonymous caller to the Attorney General's tip line revealed Hubbard had fled to Michigan.
Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond praised the caller and Detroit police for their efforts to help ensure Hubbard would be held accountable for her actions.
The tipster will receive a reward for their information.
With Hubbard's arrest, three more fugitives have been added to Oklahoma's Most Wanted list.
