Montgomery County Public Works postpones a bridge replacement project due to inclement weather.

The replacement of a bridge over Pumpkin Creek on County Road 1800 east of Coffeyville was slated to begin today. However, with the recent winter storm and the frigid temperatures, the County Public Works Department has postponed the start date until next Monday, January 13. County Road 1800 will be closed in both directions starting next Monday and will remain closed for the duration of the project. The estimated completion time is about 125 working days or a little over four months.
