The intersection of Northeast Street and 8th was blocked off this afternoon due to a two-vehicle accident.

The Coffeyville Fire Department and Coffeyville Regional Medical Center EMS in addtion to the Coffeyville Police Department responded to the accident around 4:30 this afteroon.  Reports indicate one person was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The cause of the accident is under investigation.
