A Colorado man is dead following a single-vehicle car accident in western Kansas.

39-year-old Toby Kandt of Holly, CO, was killed yesterday when his vehicle struck a bridge embankment in rural Hamilton County. Kandt was taken to St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City following the accident, where he succumbed to his injuries.
