A 35-year-old Kingman man is killed on the morning of New Year's Eve when his minivan overturns and catches fire.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 35-year-old Jared Adcock was traveling westbound on K-42 about a half mile east of Rago around 4am on the morning of New Year's Eve. His vehicle then left the roadway for an unknown reason, entered the north ditch, and then caught fire.

Adcock was pronounced dead at the scene.
