A cement truck rollover causes traffic delays near Columbus.

The accident happened around 10am yesterday on Southeast Clem Road at the B-S-N-F railroad crossing, just east of US-69 in rural Cherokee County. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, as the truck approached the railroad tracks, its tires dropped off the edge of the road, causing it to roll. The cement mixer was loaded at the time and required a large wrecker to right the vehicle.

The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle for medical treatment.
