The Montgomery County Commission will meet today and consider a request by the County Treasurer for additional funding for the Motor Vehicle Office.

Treasurer Nancy Clubine appeared before the commission last week and requested $50,000 in additional funding from the county. The request was tabled, meaning that commissioners will revisit the issue at today's meeting. County Administrator Jonathan Booe will also address commissioners regarding insurance premiums while Brandon Beurskins will be on hand for an update from the Public Works Department.

Today's meeting begins at 9am in the Commission Room on the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence. The meeting is open to the public.
