The Cherryvale Police Department invites residents of southeast Kansas to voice their concerns about the safety of area roadways.
C-P-D in conjunction with the Southeast Kansas Regional Planning Commission seeks input via the Safe Street 4 All Plan. The purpose of the plan is to create a strategy to identify solutions for eliminating fatal and serious injury accidents on southeast Kansas streets and highways. C-P-D cites the recent high number of fatal crashes on US-169 as an example.
Both groups are asking area residents to take a short, 10-minute, online survey about their travel needs and concerns in an attempt to protect all drivers and keep local communities safe.
