The Oklahoma State Board of Education suspends a Wyandotte, Oklahoma teacher's certification after she is charged in federal court with child abuse.
Special education teacher Jennifer Enyart, and her husband, Keith Enyart, were indicted in federal court on December 16th on multiple child abuse charges involving their mentally disabled 15-year-old adopted son. Charges include neglect and assault with a dangerous weapon.
According to the affidavit, there is evidence of taser marks on the victim's genitals. The juvenile told authorities a tasing incident had happened. Medical professionals note the markings are consistent with injuries related to abuse.
The affidavit also shows the victim having visible wounds including bruises and loop-pattern marks, at the time the Enyarts were arrested.
Jennifer Enyart's appeal against her teaching certificate being suspended will happen in January.
