An accident yesterday afternoon sends a UPS truck into the North Fork of Spring River.

 According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident took place around 2:45 pm. at the intersection of N Highway and West Dade 183. The truck was traveling south on N Highway when its wheels dropped off the edge of the road. The driver then overcorrected. The truck left the roadway to the right at the edge of the bridge, crashing into the water and ending up on its side.

 The driver was uninjured. Packages were seen floating in the water.

 The Missouri State Highway Patrol, Golden City Fire Dept, and Dade County Cox Health responded to the accident.
