A new scam is circulating in Cherryvale.

According to Cherryvale Police Chief Jimmy Holt, the department has received reports of a new scam where a caller will state that you have won an amount of money and a new vehicle. They will then tell you that to get the money and the vehicle, you will be required to pay shipping on the vehicle. The department reminds residents that this is a scam and not legitimate.
