Fog is expected to stick around this morning for the four-state area.

The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for the region which now includes all of eastern Kansas and Oklahoma as well as portions of southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas. Visibility could drop below a quarter mile in areas. The advisory goes until 10 a.m. for northeast Oklahoma and noon for southeast Kansas. In addition, a marginal risk of severe weather is possible today for southeast Oklahoma, with the greatest risk extending further south into Texas, Louisiana and southern Arkansas.
