Around 2pm yesterday, Joplin police responded to a residence after reports indicated that a wanted person was inside.

Officers set up a perimeter around the home and began the process of attempting to convince the suspect to exit the house. After tear gas was used, a female exited the residence just before 6pm. She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment for exposure to gas.

The suspect Timothy Adams exited the house just after 7pm and was taken into custody on felony warrants in Barton and Jasper counties.
