As Christmas approaches tomorrow, several municipal offices are closed before, during and after the holiday.
The Independence City Hall will be closed today and tomorrow, but the Coffeyville City Hall will just be closed tomorrow for Christmas, although the Coffeyville8 customer service desk will be closed Wednesday through Friday. Trash schedules in Coffeyville and Independence will run one day behind starting on Thursday. A list of area office closings is available here:
