Authorities in Pontotoc County, OK, are investigating a double homicide in the City of Allen about 15 miles east of Ada.

 

Deputies with the Allen County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about a suspicious incident at a home in rural Allen County on the night of December 17. When they arrived on the scene, they discovered 84-year-old Robert

Peliti and 70-year-old Jackie Peliti. Both had been severely injured. Jackie was pronounced deceased at the scene while Robert was taken to a nearby hospital where he later passed away from his injuries.

 

Agents from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation along with the deputies identified 42-year-old Richard Dewayne Chambers as a person of interest. Chambers was arrested and taken to the Pontotoc County Jail in Ada. Official charges are pending as the investigation continues. Chambers is also a suspect in a homicide in Midwest City last week.
