The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has been called in to help investigate a death in Ringwood in Major County about 50 miles southwest of Ponca City.

Deputies from the Major County Sheriff’s Office were called to a Ringwood residence just before 9 last Wednesday morning. There they found 36-year-old Beatriz Reyna deceased. She was then taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in order to determine the cause and manner of her death.

After further investigation, authorities arrested 44-year-old Jose De Jesus Navarro-Ramos in connection to the death. The investigation is ongoing and the Major County Attorney's Office has not yet announced what, if any, charges Navarro-Ramos may face.
