Wichita Man Sentenced in Connection to Deaths of Couple Living in Shed

A Wichita man is sentenced for his role in a 2022 incident that led to the deaths of two people.

23-year-old Brandon Prouse Jr. agreed to a deal in which he would plead guilty to aggravated robbery after initially being charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of 38-year-old Bonnie Galloway and 30-year-old Connor O'Callaghan in February 2022. As a result of the plea deal, Prouse was sentenced to 24 years in prison for the robbery charge and for previous probation violations.

The two victims were living in a shed when they were killed.

Another man, Justin Macormac was also arrested and charged in the case. Macormac was sentenced in September to 71 years in prison on charges of first-degree murder, voluntary manslaughter, and attempted second-degree murder.
